      Overview

We've introduced a dedicated Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for ArborXR. This feature will allow you to securely connect your ArborXR instance to MCP-compatible AI clients (such as Claude Desktop, IDEs, or custom AI agents).

By acting as a standardized bridge, the MCP server enables your AI tools to "read" and understand the current state of your XR fleet without manual data exports or navigating the dashboard.

      Key Capabilities

      • Real-Time Device Audits: Ask your AI agent for a list of devices with low battery, offline status, or outdated firmware.

      • App & Content Intelligence: Query which versions of specific apps are deployed across which groups.

      • Automated Reporting: Generate instant summaries of headset utilization and other analytics through simple natural language prompts.

      • Permissions: Your assistant inherits your permissions. MCP access is scoped to the user who created the token so it can only see and do what your ArborXR role allows.

See Connect your AI Assistant to ArborXR with MCP to get started.
