AI glasses support, starting with Meta
A few things landed this cycle that we're genuinely proud of.
The headline: Remote Assistance has arrived. See exactly what a user sees through point of view camera streaming, and talk with them in real time over two way audio. It works on Meta AI glasses, where ArborXR is the only MDM to offer it, and across every XR device you already manage in ArborXR, including Quest, PICO, HTC, Samsung Galaxy XR, and Magic Leap 2.
We’ve also rolled out our MCP server so you can connect ArborXR directly to your AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.
Finally, we’ve added Wi-Fi Deployment Status for more visibility into how Wi-Fi configurations are rolling out across your fleet.
More details on each feature below.
Remote Assistance: Meta AI Glasses & Beyond
ArborXR is now the first MDM to support AI glasses. Today's release adds Remote Assistance for Meta AI glasses (Ray-Ban and Oakley), making us the first platform where IT and operations teams can deploy and remotely support AI glasses at scale. Support for other AI glasses will follow as the ecosystem matures. Remote Assistance is not limited to just Meta AI glasses.
What ships today for Meta AI glasses:
View Meta AI glasses in the ArborXR portal alongside your XR headsets.
Stream the wearer's point of view through the glasses' camera, straight to the ArborXR portal.
Two-way audio through the glasses themselves. Talk to the wearer through the glasses' speaker; hear them back through the glasses' mic.
What ships today for Meta, PICO, Galaxy XR, VIVE, and other models:
Two-way audio is now supported on every device model we manage, including Meta Quest, PICO, Samsung Galaxy XR, HTC VIVE, Magic Leap 2, and other device models. Talk to your headset users directly through the portal and hear them back.
Playback audio streaming is also supported across the fleet. Hear what the device is playing in stereo, separate from voice, for full context.
Camera feed streaming extends beyond glasses to select XR headsets such as the Samsung Galaxy XR and Magic Leap 2. The same point-of-view assistance available on Meta glasses now works on a subset of headsets too.
This isn't a video-call bolted onto a headset. It's hands-free, point-of-view expert assistance for the people who've never been able to get it: field workers, frontline teams, and trainers whose hands are full and whose problems can't be described over the phone.

MCP
ArborXR now has an MCP server, meaning your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others) can query and act on your fleet in plain English. Instead of clicking through the Portal to check device status, you can ask things like:
"Which devices haven't come online this week?"
"Show me every device running an outdated version of my app."
"Pull this week's audit log and summarize the changes."
Your assistant has read-only access to the same fleet data you'd see in the Portal: fleet status, battery, network, storage, location, assigned apps and deployment status, usage analytics, audit history, and much more.

🛜 Wi-Fi Deployment Status
Provisioning Enterprise Wi-Fi, especially with complex certificates like SCEP, PKCS, or EST, has always been a core strength of ArborXR. But until today, once you hit "deploy," the status was a bit of a mystery. We’re changing that. We’ve launched Wi-Fi Deployment Status Reporting. Now, instead of wondering if a device connected, you get real-time visibility into:
Success: Total peace of mind.
Pending: See exactly what’s still in the queue.
Error: If an error occurs, we provide the necessary information to help you resolve the issue quickly with our support team.
Check it out in your ArborXR instance today!
