    Multi-App Kiosk Mode Enhancements on Tablets

      What's Coming

      1. Custom Wallpaper: Admins will soon be able to set a custom wallpaper for devices. This allows you to brand the device with your company logo, a custom image, or any other visual that aligns with your organization's needs.

      2. A Cleaner, More Secure Launcher: To further simplify the user interface, any applications that are not on the administrator's allowlist will no longer appear in the device's launcher. Users will only see and be able to access the specific apps you have configured for kiosk mode. This change reduces clutter and ensures users can only interact with the intended applications.

      3. Simplified Access with a Disabled Lock Screen: For use cases where instant access is desired, admins will have the option to disable the lock screen. When enabled, users can immediately access the device's home screen after waking it up (e.g., by pressing the power button). No PIN, password, pattern, or biometric authentication will be required. If the lock screen is not disabled by the administrator, the device user can configure the lock screen type as they normally would.
