ArborXR Home & Kiosk Mode on Meta Quest 3, VIVE XR Elite, and DPVR

Enhance your Meta Quest 3, VIVE XR Elite, and DPVR user experience with full access to two of our most popular features - ArborXR Home and Kiosk mode!

Through ArborXR Home, you can customize the headset’s environment, control app and settings access, and lock down the headset as you see fit.

With Kiosk Mode, you can lock the headset down to a single application that will automatically launch upon powering on the headset.

Regardless of your use case, these features will enhance and simplify the user experience!

Open WebXR Links on PICO in Wolvic Browser

WebXR links launched from ArborXR Home now automatically open in the Wolvic browser, if installed on PICO headsets.

Using the Wolvic browser enables "kiosk mode" for WebXR content by disabling the URL bar, so users can't navigate to other websites. Instead, they’ll be focused on the WebXR content you’ve assigned them.

Important Bug Fixes

PICO devices on PUI 5:

  • Users can reliably exit ArborXR Home & Kiosk Mode, which will now trigger a reboot.

  • Returning to the previously running app from ArborXR’s quick access menu resumes the app instead of restarting it, ensuring users don’t lose their progress.

  • While in an app, long pressing the home button recenters the user interface instead of opening ArborXR’s quick access menu.

Meta Quest devices on v57:

  • Re-grant WiFi permissions on Quest devices enrolled prior to v57, ensuring connectivity and communication. Learn more about the Wi-Fi scanning permission granting flow.

  • Upon a reboot, ArborXR Home would sometimes fail to launch, leaving users in a black environment.

PICO G3:

  • No more interruptions to your experience, with height and position adjustments, users no longer find themselves beneath the floor of the ArborXR Lounge (3D environment).
