Announcing Remote View (non-Quest devices) & Web Portal SSO!

It’s been a busy few months! Our latest release gives you even more tools and control over your fleet of XR devices.

Now, you have the ability to cast all non-Quest devices to the ArborXR web portal, enabling seamless remote support and troubleshooting.

Additionally, we’ve implemented Single Sign-On to the web portal.

Remote View

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to introduce the beta launch of Remote View for non-Quest devices. Now, you can effortlessly view what users see in their headsets, all from the ArborXR web portal. This functionality is crucial for guiding users through VR experiences, as well as providing remote support and troubleshooting.

Remote View is currently supported on the following devices:

• PICO 4 Enterprise

• VIVE Focus 3

• PICO Neo 3 Pro

• PICO Neo 2

• PICO G24K

• Phones and tablets

Coming soon:

• VIVE Flow (requires an upcoming FOTA update)

Once Meta makes this functionality available to MDMs, we’ll also support Quest devices!

Web Portal Single Sign-On (SSO)

While ArborXR has offered in-VR SSO for end users since last fall, this release brings SSO to the web portal for admin users. This provides an added layer of security and convenience for logging into ArborXR’s web portal.

Capture Screen Recordings

Introducing a convenient screen recording feature directly within ArborXR Home and Kiosk Mode! Now, you can easily start and stop screen recording without any hassle.

This feature is currently supported on the following devices:

• PICO 4 Enterprise

• VIVE Focus 3

• PICO Neo 3 Pro

• PICO Neo 2

• PICO G24K

Right now, screen recording is available for all non-Quest devices. Once Meta makes this functionality available to MDMs, we’ll also support Quest devices!

Improvements to Session Analytics

We continuously strive to enhance the usability and usefulness of our features. In line with that goal, we have made significant improvements to the Session Analytics page, including:

• Enhanced Overview: The top left section now displays a comprehensive summary which includes the total time spent in apps.

• Expanded View By Options: You now have a wider range of time intervals to choose from including: 1 day, 7 days, 1 month, year to date, and all. Selecting any of these options dynamically updates the graph accordingly.

• Improved Line Graph: Previously, hovering over the line graph displayed information for only one line. With this update, multiple lines are now shown, enabling you to easily compare and analyze various data points.

• App Toggle Functionality: From the graph itself, you can toggle individual apps on or off, allowing you to conveniently view or hide specific app analytics based on your preferences.

Additional Columns for Devices Tables

We have added new columns to the Devices tables on the Device Index and Groups pages. This allows you to view important metadata across multiple devices at once, including MAC address, firmware version, and more. To configure the columns shown in the devices table, simply click on the gear icon located in the top right corner.
